We are bringing the philosophy of an educational approach to make-up closer to you.
Recognizing the need of working make-up artists and other industry professionals to be able to broaden and increase their knowledge, Make-Up Designory has created a series of part-time courses. These courses are held conveniently at MUD’s main campuses, MUD Studios and Partner Schools throughout the country and internationally.
MUD Studio courses are based on the same great educational methodology and teacher training that has helped to make MUD a bedrock in make-up education. The courses are pulled from the same curriculum that comprises the longer programs at MUD, but are broken up into smaller modules. These modules can be taken separately or combined, allowing the student to transfer their education to one of MUD’s main campuses.
MUD Studio
is a combination of Make-Up Designory's retail and educational offerings that provide customers with certified MUD products and unparalleled education in make-up artistry. MUD invites customers to attend weekend or evening seminars, host workshops for make-up enthusiasts, and even offer professional make-up courses and programs for MUD certification.

These modules can be taken separately or combined, allowing the student to transfer their education to one of MUD’s main campuses.
The kit
The kit is more than make-up. Kits are designed by course and are shipped directly to your location. Inside the kit, the student will find the MUD make-up, course books, and other printed material needed to complete their course. Also, each kit contains a course completion application and unique serial number. This number allows us to track the student and insure they receive the appropriate certification.
Level I - Beauty Essentials
Our Make-up Artist Training is the first step in realizing your dream to be a make-up artist. Beauty essentials provides the bases for your further development in the world of make-up artistry. The Beauty Essentials course acts as a pre-requisite to the High Fashion Make-up Trends, Avant-Garde, Bridal Make-up, Studio Make-up and Airbrush courses. Please be advised that this course, when taken on its own, does not lead to an occupational outcome. After finishing the class you will be awarded with MUD Studio certificate and MUD Studio card.
Level II - Make-up Artist & Specialties
Specialty courses can be taken once the student has achieved the Level I Make-up Artist. The student may choose to complete one or all of the specialty courses.
Programs and certification
The Make-up Artist Training is our 210 hour course. Once you complete the course, you will receive a certificate and a MUD Studio card directly from Make-Up Designory. In addition to these core classes, we offer a series of Specialty courses that can be taken once you achieve the Make-up Artist Training. Choose to complete one or all of the specialty courses. A specialty card and certificate are awarded for each specialty. For the pro-level artist that wants to take their education to the next level, you can enroll in one of our main campuses and receive credit for the courses already taken.
International students
You can pick to study from any location in Europe. International classes are available.
